Available Resources and Information During COVID-19
With business and organization closures and changes of protocol due to COVID-19, many relied upon resources are not currently available. We encourage our community to use Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333 for information on resources available.
They will continue to have the most updated information on SNAP (including any expanded benefits that may become available) and offer screening and application assistance over the phone. They will also connect callers to additional food resources based on their location, circumstances, and needs. The FoodSource Hotline will maintain its usual hours with access to Language Line translators. The hotline at 1-800-645-8333 is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
For those looking to help, we urge you to make a donation to Lovin’ Spoonfuls or other local emergency response organizations. We are continuing to operate our food rescue program and distribute food to our beneficiary partners in MA during this time.
To review Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ beneficiary partner locations and resources, please visit our Beneficiaries page. Use the map to locate a partner near you, or click on their website to learn more. Since not all of our partners have public-facing programs, we encourage you to review their websites, call them, or call the Project Bread hotline to learn more about current availability, hours, and resources.
