Boston Bacon and Beer Festival

May 15, 2012 Updated: January 18, 2024

On April 28, the third annual Boston Bacon & Beer Festival took place at the House of Blues in Boston. This year the event sold out faster than ever and even crashed EAT Boston’s website! Ashley, Jeremy, and Meg manned the Lovin’ Spoonfuls table, handing out Spoonfuls temporary tattoos and spreading the word about Spoonfuls’ work!  Delicious bacon dishes from notable Boston restaurants such as Aquitaine, The Fireplace, and Harvest were featured alongside beers from companies including Peak Organic Brewing Company and Sam Adams. All that bacon and beer had a purpose; in the end, the event raised over $20,000 for Lovin’ Spoonfuls and Community Servings! Thank you to all of the restaurants, chefs, volunteers, and attendees who made this event possible!
