Lens On Leadership: Series brings together Spoonfuls' partners

March 29, 2021 Updated: January 18, 2024

Spoonfuls’ “Learning with Lovin’” series brings together business and community leaders to offer their insights and perspectives on a range of topics geared toward professional development. Discussions are moderated by Friends of Lovin’ Spoonfuls member and NBC Boston reporter, Abbey Niezgoda.

The next session in the series, on May 19, will focus on choosing business partners. Said Chief Operating Officer, Lauren Palumbo, “We mean that in the broadest possible sense. How do we strategically partner with individuals and businesses to have an impact?”

The session will feature business and community leaders with a connection to Lovin’ Spoonfuls: Lucy Darragh, Director of Corporate Citizenship at COVID partner Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Mia Alvarado, Executive Director of non-profit partner Roxbury Youthworks, and Kiera Penpeci, Founder and Principal Consultant of Primed OD, with whom Spoonfuls partners around ongoing DEI/anti-racism education and training; and Ashley Stanley, Founder and Executive Director of Lovin’ Spoonfuls.

“With so many people seizing on this moment to take their next step and grow themselves professionally, we recognize we have something good here. We’re fortunate for strong partnerships and seasoned leaders in our midst who help us meet our mission. There’s a lot we can learn from them, so we wanted to make the space for that learning.”

Sessions are free to attend, though registration is required.
