Just the Facts: With Kate Constantine

December 20, 2021 Updated: January 23, 2024

Kate joined Team Lovin’ as a Food Rescue Coordinator this past summer. Since then, she has been working to rescue and distribute food in the Greater Boston region.

Operations Manager, Chris Ramos-Hernandez, says, “Kate has floated between four routes in her time with us and has established strong relationships with her partners on each. She takes her time getting to know her partners just by talking with them. This effort makes a huge difference. Kate is always willing to do whatever it takes to make sure partners are taken care of.”

Here are a few things you should know about Kate:

1. Kate has been a “floater” on four different trucks during her time at Spoonfuls. That means she pitches in where she’s needed, providing support to other Food Rescue Coordinators. She hopes to eventually see every route in action so that she can meet all of the vendor and nonprofit partners we work with.

2. While in college, Kate organized a clothing and menstrual product drive for Rosie’s Place, where – as a Food Rescue Coordinator – she now brings Lovin’ Spoonfuls’ rescues!

3. Her high school senior superlative was “Most Musical,” and she went on in college to join an acapella group where she met fellow Food Rescue Coordinator, Sarah!
