With our network of 250+ community programs across Massachusetts, you can take the guesswork out of donating. As your reliable food recovery partner, Spoonfuls’ ServSafe-certified food recovery staff uses refrigerated vehicles to safely transport the food you donate to where it will have the biggest impact. And while you’re making an important difference in your community, your company will save money.

Our typical food donors include grocery stores, wholesalers, farms, farmers’ markets, school and corporate cafeterias, and stadiums. We visit some of our partners up to five days a week. Others contact us as needed when they have bulk, excess product.
We do not accept food donations from individuals.
We recover produce, meat, dairy, prepared foods, and more, that meet our food safety standards. We can accept some items past their code dates.
We distribute the food we recover to community programs serving people facing food insecurity, including food pantries, meal programs, shelters, recovery centers, after-school programs, and more. Our services are provided at no cost to recipient organizations.
