Food Inquiry

Looking for food for your program?

From pantries to shelters to after school programs and more, we distribute food to 250+ community organizations across Massachsuetts every week.

A man on a truck donates food to a woman standing outside, passing her a crate at a busy Massachusetts loading dock where boxes and crates are stacked nearby.

Delivering food with purpose

At Spoonfuls, we believe food recovery is a tool we have to minimize wasted food and feed our neighbors. We work with all types of food access programs, from meal kitchens and neighborhood pantries to family shelters and recovery homes.

No matter the model, our ServSafe-certified food recovery staff prioritizes distributing safe and quality food to all of our partners.

Benefits of Partnering with Spoonfuls

  • We distribute the food we recover (over 90% of it perishable) at no cost to our community partners.
  • Our professional, ServSafe-certified food recovery staff make deliveries in refrigerated vehicles to ensure food safety and quality. The excess or unsold product we pick up is still perfectly good to eat.
  • Our staff works to match the food they recover to your program’s unique needs.
  • With a beneficiary network that includes hundreds of community-based programs across the state, we offer opportunities throughout the year to connect, learn from, and share with peers.

By partnering with Spoonfuls, the Franklin Food Pantry is able to get healthy, nutritious vegetables, fruits, and proteins into the hands of people who need them, while allowing us to strengthen our sustainable practices by reducing food waste.
